Reading at Yer Bard, Camberwell, London

It was quite the adventure this summer to read at the fantastic Yer Bard series of poetry series in the epic surrounds of Camberwell, South East London, which sweltered not only in the furnace of the seemingly never-ending heatwave, but also in the white heat of World Cup fever. Dash the Henge, where the series takes place each and every month, proved to be remarkable venue: part bar, part record shop, part performance space.  It was a privilege to share the stage with Amy Acre, author of the award-winning Mother Song, who recited a powerful new work from memory. My thanks to the inimitable Vida Adamczewski for inviting me to be a part of this unique and innovative series.
