It’s the honour of a lifetime to see my collection Render on the shortlist for the T.S. Eliot Prize 2026. It’s a surreal experience in many ways to be in the running for the world’s most prestigious poetry prize: I couldn’t quite believe the news until it was made public last week. I feel an immense debt of gratitude to Eimear and Jessica at Banshee Press for helping me bring this book into the light
My thanks go to the judges Leontia Flynn, Ishion Hutchinson and Daisy Lafarge and my congratulations to the other shortlisted poets. I’m very much looking forward to meeting them all in London this coming January.
